Specifying a device type to use for the master form

If you are designing a form that will not normally be accessed by means of a standard PC interface, then you should consider choosing a different device version to be used for the master form.

  1. In the Edit Device Types dialog box, ensure that the intended device type has been defined.
  2. Go into Design Mode.
  3. Select Form > Definition > New.
  4. In the Specify Form Name and Type wizard, enter or select the form as you normally would, but in the Device field, select the device that is to be used for the master version.
  5. Continue through the Specify Form Name and Type wizard.
