Defining device types

To define which device types you can design derived forms for:

  1. Open the Edit Device Types dialog box. Initially, only a default entry exists.
  2. To begin defining a device, click Add.
  3. Specify the name to be associated with the device.
  4. Optionally, specify the device's screen dimensions, measured in pixels.
  5. In the User Agent field, specify which browsers are compatible with the device, separated by the pipe symbol ( | ).
  6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 until all devices are defined.
  7. Click OK.
