Setting form, component, and object properties
In Design Mode, Form, C omponent, and Object property sheets display by default. The sheets can be minimized or changed to floating windows.
To set properties:

In Design Mode, select the form, component, or object for which
you want to set a property.
- To select a form, perform one of these actions:
- Click in the form background outside any component.
- In the Object Viewer, double-click Forms, and then double-click the form name.
- On the Edit menu, select Form Properties.
- To select a component, perform one of these actions:
- Click the component in the form.
- In the Object Viewer, double-click Forms, and then double-click Components. In the components list, click the component name.
- In the Component property sheet, select the component name in the combo box below the title bar of the property sheet.
- To select a global object, perform one of these actions:
- In the Object Viewer, double-click a global object type (such as Component Classes), and then click the object name.
- On the Edit menu, click a global object type. Select the name of a global object, and then click Edit.
- To select a form, perform one of these actions:

Click the property for which you want to set the value, and perform
one of these actions:
- In the property box, type a value.
- If the property box contains an down pointer, click the pointer and then select a value in the list.
- If the property box contains an ellipsis (...) button, click it to display a detailed dialog box or property sheet.
