Event Handler Parameters - Edit Timer Action (Web Designer form)

This version of the Event Handler Parameters form is used with form events that have been assigned a Response > Type of Timer.

The fields and options specific to this response type include these:

Field/Option Description
Action Use this drop-down list to specify whether the timer is to start or stop when this event is generated:
  • Start - Starts the timer operation to run for a specified amount of time.
  • Stop - Stops any timer operation that is currently running.
Interval Use this drop-down list to specify the amount of time that the timer should run before stopping on its own.

You can specify various intervals up to an hour. If you select <None>, the timer continues to run until a Stop action halts it.

This field is enabled only when the Action field is set to Start.
