Document types and their assigned roles

Access to generate the reports in SyteLine and to read, update or delete the generated documents in Document Management is only allowed for users who belong to the appropriate roles (groups).

The table in this section shows the predefined SyteLine document types, the ACL that is used with each document type, and the IFS roles that are assigned to each document type. The IFS roles are synchronized with SyteLine and Document Management through BODs.

If you are not using the standard SyteLine groups/roles, you will need to modify this list in Document Management.

To modify the predefined roles or permissions for a document type, go to the Control Center in Document Management and select Administration > Document Type. Select the document type, for example CS_PurchaseOrder. In the ACL tab, select the ACL name, for example InforPurchaseOrder, and click the Edit icon. Expand the Roles List and modify the roles and permissions in the list.

Note: If you modify the names of predefined document types, attributes or ACLs, your changes could cause errors when importing future Infor updates to those document types.
