Restoring Forms
Restoring a form or object retrieves it from archive database and returns it to the appropriate master database. You can restore an object only if it has been previously archived.
To restore a form with its associated template and/or global objects:
- Open the Form Control form.
- In the Actions group box, select Restore.
- Select the Forms tab.
- In the Archive form name field, select the form that you want to restore.
- Verify that the Exists in Master field is set to False, which indicates that no version of the form currently exists in the master databases.

The template for the form Select Include form template. Clearing this check box leaves the template in the archive database.

Display/Select

The Global Objects Referenced from Form pane displays all the global objects associated with this form.
- Use one of these options:
- To restore all associated global objects, click
Select
All.
By default, all global objects associated with the form that can be restored are selected.
- To restore only selected global objects, first click Deselect All. Then, in the Inc (Include) column, select the objects you want to restore.
- To restore all associated global objects, click
Select
All.
- In the Process Options group, click Execute Action.
- When prompted, click OK.

Optionally, in the
Source Control Comment dialog box, specify a
comment and then click
Attach Comment.
If you do not want to specify a comment, click No Comment.
