Verifying an order

When several order pickers are required to fill one order, a staging or sortation area must be assigned. This action ensures all line items on the order are gathered and packaged together. Gathering is especially important for complicated orders because the products must be verified, packed, and labeled for shipment.

  1. Select Packing from the RF Main Menu. The Order Packing/Sortation Main Menu screen is displayed.
The products in the pallet, tote, or carton displays a ā€˜v’ next to the quantity. After you verify the quantity, the letter is not displayed. Scroll to the right to view additional information on the browse or press F6 to view detailed product information.
  2. Select Order Verification. The Order Verification - Packing screen is displayed.
  3. Scan the pallet, tote, or carton ID. The value in the Pallet/Tote/Carton field is populated with the ID of the container. A prefix P, T or C is added to the ID of pallet, tote, or carton respectively. The order number, products, and quantity contained in the pallet, tote, or carton are displayed.
  4. Scan the product number and specify the quantity. The Is there anything left in the Pallet or Tote or carton? message is displayed.
  5. Click one of these options:
    • Yes: The Pallet/Tote/Carton field is enabled, and you can continue verifying orders.
    • No: The Pallet or Tote or Carton xxxx Verified message is displayed.
