Creating a note

In the Notes window, you can add, edit, or delete a note. You can also change the order of the notes.

  1. To create a note that is attached to a contact, select the contact in the Contact context widget in Infor OS. Otherwise, go to the next step.
  2. In the Notes context widget, click the Expand icon in the Notes app.
  3. Select an entity.
  4. Click New.
  5. Optionally, select a category.
  6. Select Text or URL.
  7. Specify the text or URL information.
    Note: Grammar mistakes in the specified text are underlined in red.
  8. Click Grammar Check. The system generates a modified and refined version of the specified text using the Gen AI functionality.
    Note: You can proceed with the AI generated text or click Undo to revert the changes.
  9. Optionally, select Required, Header Note, Print Note, or Secured.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Optionally, reorder the notes. Click the Reverse sort order icon, or follow these steps:
    1. Hold your mouse over a note.
    2. Click the drag icon, and then drag the note to the preferred location.
