Customer product records

Customer product records correspond to Product Warehouse Product Setup and Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup records in Distribution SX.e. A product cross reference record is required even if the product name in Storeroom is the same as the product name in Distribution SX.e.

The corresponding Product Warehouse Product Setup record must be set up in Distribution SX.e before you create the customer product record.

You can use the Import option to import customer product records. You can upload a CSV file to add new customer product records from the Customer Product Import screen.

You can also create or maintain customer product records by creating or maintaining product cross reference records in Distribution SX.e. You can use the Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup, or the mass maintenance function.

The new customer product records are automatically synchronized from Distribution SX.e when the autoCreateCustomerProducts property is set to true on the Properties tab in the Properties Setup screen in Storeroom.
