Best practices
To ensure reliable operation of the TWL RF web application, TWL operators must follow these best practices:
-
Manage multiple TWL sessions using portal tabs:
You can use the option from the drop-down icon on the TWL application tab to open additional TWL application instances as required.
Each duplicated instance creates a separate TWL session and is displayed as an individual portal tab. You can switch between tabs to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
For more information, see the Using tabs topic in the Infor OS User and Administration Library (Cloud).
-
Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) with Kiosk mode:
You must use MDM along with Kiosk mode to create a controlled device environment. This configuration enables you to:
- Restrict access to approved applications only.
- Prevent unintended navigation actions, such as using the browser Back button.
- Improve device security and user productivity.
- Simplify device administration and management.
-
Hide the browser Back button:
To hide the browser Back button, you must use devices running Android 11 or later and configure the TWL application to run in full-screen mode.
