Function acronym: ICIP

Use this function to inquire on a specific product. The product can be a regular product, nonstock product, or other types.

You can use the Layout field to switch between Grid View and List View. Grid View is displayed by default.
Note: To set List View as the default, you must select the Default to List View in ICIP check box on the SA Administrator Options - Product - Defaults screen.

Grid View

Products defined on the Product Setup screen are displayed in a tabular format, in Grid View, based on the specified search criteria.

You can perform these actions in the Grid View:
  • Create a new product on the Product Setup screen using the New option.
  • Filter the grid results by product, warehouse, and keyword using the search panel. You can also use Additional Search option to filter the grid results by additional criteria.
  • Use the grid features such as row filtering and exporting to excel.

List View

In List View, the products defined on the Product Setup screen are grouped by the attribute groups. Attribute groups can be defined on the Attribute Group Setup screen. Images are displayed for each attribute group if an image is uploaded in Infor Document Management (IDM) application with the Document Type field value set to Attribute Group Images. You can click a product group to view the products in that attribute group.

In the List View, you can use:
  • The Search field to filter product groups and products.
  • The Warehouse field to filter product groups associated with a warehouse.
    Note: By default, the product groups are filtered for the warehouse associated with the operator on the SA Operator Setup screen.
  • The Product Groups grid to view product groups and the images from IDM.
  • The Products grid to view the basic product details including images.
  • The product links to access the product detail page for the selected product.
  • The Compare option to access the Compare Products screen wherein you can compare a maximum of four products.
  • The + Add to Product List option to add selected products to a Product List.
  • The Clear Selections option to clear the selected products.
  • The Refine section to filter products by various attributes such as Warehouse, Brand, Capacity, Color, Attribute Group, and so on.
