Open AP Balance

This widget displays the total Accounts Payable (AP) balance and the Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The AP balance for various periods is displayed in a donut chart. You can hover over a section in the chart to view the AP balance for that period.

Note: 
  • The Year/Month field value is not applicable for this widget.

  • The No data returned from Cloud Suite Distribution Birst Analytics warning message is displayed, if no Birst Space ID is associated with the logged-in tenant.

The View Details option in the widget enables you to access the AP Transaction Summary window. You can perform these actions in the window:

  • View the monthly breakdown of AP balance for the past 12 months, starting from the current month. The details include:

    • Invoice Amount
    • Payment Amount
    • Late Payment Amount
    • Discount Offered
    • Discount Taken
    • Discount Lost
  • Click View AP Transaction Summary to access the AP Transaction Summary page in the Birst application.

  • Click Insights to generate detailed insights using Gen AI, based on the AP balance data for the past 12 months, starting from the Year/Month value specified in the Apply filters section. The AI insights include an executive summary, a trend analysis, a performance benchmark, a risk identification list, and strategic recommendations. These insights help CEO understand performance and act on data-driven opportunities. You can click Download to save the insights as a PDF file.

    Note: The Insights option is enabled in the Advanced Workspace.
  • Filter the grid, using the Search field.
  • View and hide row filters, using the Show filter row option.
  • Filter data, using the Run filter option.
  • Remove all filters, using the Clear filter option.
  • Export the entire data to an Excel file, using the Export to Excel option.
