Overview

Using the Proof of Delivery Driver mobile application, drivers can accomplish these tasks:

• Manage delivery routes
• Manage will call orders
• Capture signatures
• Record the date and time of the delivery or customer pickup

Proof of Delivery is a two-component application:

• A web-based Manager application used to manage routes, deliveries, will call orders, and drivers.
• A mobile Driver application for recording deliveries and customer pickups that runs on iPhones and Android smart phones.

Proof of Delivery (POD) is synchronized with your Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). The Manager application provides the communication between your ERP and the POD Driver app. The Manager application displays line items of orders of the type, sales, warehouse transfer, and customer returns that are picked in warehouses and ready for delivery or customer pickup. The purchase orders are displayed in the Manager application when the purchase order is updated to the Pre-Received stage in the ERP and are ready for pickup from the vendors. These warehouses are also set up in POD. Sales orders and warehouse transfer orders are marked as picked in your ERP until delivery or pickup processing is complete in POD, whereas purchase orders are placed in the pre-received stage until receiving process is completed in POD.

The Driver mobile application captures delivery information and sends it to your ERP using the Manager app.

In POD, drivers are also referred to as handlers.

POD supports multiple languages and date formats based on the device settings. Supported languages:
