Product Advisor context widget

Use the Product Advisor context widget to generate comprehensive product information required for selling and servicing a product using Gen AI functionality.

The Item field is displayed in the widget and populated by the value that you specify in the Product field on a screen in CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) application. You can click the Item field value to search the product in a new tab on the browser.

You can use these options on the Product Advisor context widget:
  • Sell It: To generate comprehensive product information based on all product related field values defined across the screens within CSD application. This information includes the following details which helps in selling the product:
    • An overview
    • Specifications and features
  • Support It: To generate comprehensive support information for the product. This information includes the following details which helps in servicing the product:
    • An overview
    • A list of possible faults and errors
    • Resolutions for each fault

You can also use the Browse Image option or drag and drop a product image to upload the image. You can preview the selected image or remove the image by using the Cancel icon. Gen AI analyzes the uploaded image and provides this information:

  • Possible matching products in the Matching Products field
  • Confidence score for the identified product

The first matching product is automatically selected in the Matching Products field. You can select a product and perform these actions:

  • Save the original image to Infor Document Management (IDM), using the Upload option.
  • Generate information related to the selected product, using the Sell It or Support It option.
Note: 
  • When you upload an image, this widget displays possible matching products based on the uploaded image instead of using the product currently selected in CSD.
  • If the confidence score is less than 75 percent, a message is prompted to upload a clear image or search by product code.
  • If Gen AI identifies the product but no matching product is available in the product catalog, an informational message is displayed.

The expanding icon enables you to view the data in a modal window.

Prerequisites for the Product Advisor context widget:

  • Procure a Gen AI license.
  • Install all required Gen AI services in your tenant.
  • Ensure that the administrator has enabled the feature in CloudSuite Self-Service Portal (CSSP). If you cannot see this feature in your tenant, contact your system administrator.

  • Ensure that the INFOROS.GENAI business rule is activated on the SA Business Rule Setup screen.

  • Ensure that these prompts are defined on the SA Table Code Value Setup - GenAI screen:
    • ai-product-info
    • ai-product-support-info
    • ai-product-image-recognition
    Note: You can modify these prompts based on your requirements.
