SM Lost Business Report overview

Function acronym: SMROL

Use this report to review information about Sales Order Entry transactions that were short-shipped orders or canceled orders that were assigned a lost business reason.

You can select the report output format using the Print Output Type field on the Information screen. Possible values:

  • PDF
  • Text
  • Excel
Note: 
  • When you select Excel as the output type, the Print Options Page check box is automatically selected.
  • The Excel value is displayed only when the Convert to Excel check box is selected for the SMROL function on the SA Administrator Options-System-Report Items screen.

Short-shipped orders are those orders where the quantity shipped is less than the quantity ordered and no back order was created for the difference.

You can sort this report by customer, reason, vendor/product line or taken by. You can use the report ranges to isolate factors, such as stock replenishment or customer service issues, that may be contributing lost business.
