Sales Order Entry - Advanced Line Entry - Warehouse Availability overview
Use this page to review availability in other warehouses for the product that you are adding or modifying on the Advanced Line Entry screen. This information helps you determine whether the required quantity is available in another warehouse when sufficient quantity is not available in the warehouse specified on the order.
After you specify a product in the Advanced Line Entry screen, the option is displayed. When you click this option, warehouse availability information such as Warehouse ID, Warehouse Name, Net Available, Cost, On Order, and Surplus, is displayed in these grids:
- Valid Alternate Warehouses: For selecting an alternate warehouse for the order line.
- Warehouse Availability: For viewing all other warehouses containing the selected product on the order line.
Valid Alternate Warehouses
This grid displays valid alternate warehouses for the specified warehouse on the order and the specified product on the order line. You can perform these actions on the grid:
- Select the required alternate warehouse and click to apply the alternate warehouse to the order line.
- Select and export the required warehouses to an Excel file.
The Valid Alternate Warehouses grid is displayed only if these are configured:
- Valid alternate warehouses for the specified order warehouse on the Product Extended Warehouse Cross Reference Setup screen.
- Necessary product cross references for the specified product on the order line.
Warehouse Availability
This grid displays other warehouses containing the stock of the product specified on the order line. The warehouse specified on the order is also included in the list. You can export the selected warehouses to an Excel file.
