Use stock movement when a location is being changed and the inventory within the location must be moved.
From the RF Main Menu, select Material Handling.
Select Stock Movements.
Scan or specify the location you are moving stock from.
The stock status, customer hold, and cargo ID are checked by TWL before you can move the stock. If any problems are found, a message is displayed and fields are cleared so you can try another location.
Select Yes to move the full quantity in the location. Otherwise, select No to specify a different quantity for moving.
For lot-controlled products in a pallet-type location, if the selected pallet contains multiple lot numbers of the same product (and no other products), the Move the whole pallet? message is displayed. You can click one of these options:
Yes: Moves all lot numbers on the pallet to the destination location using the same pallet ID.
No: Moves only the selected lot number of the product to the destination location. The To Pallet field is cleared, and you must specify a different destination pallet for the split lot.
Note: TWL administrators can configure Question 00226 on the TWL User Specific Configuration screen in CSD, to automatically answer the prompt without user interaction.
Scan or specify the new location.
Scan or specify the new pallet, if applicable.
If you are moving a product from a primary location, a message is displayed: Are you changing the primary pick for this item?. Select Yes.
You may be changing the primary pick for the item, and the location is in a different zone. Select Yes to confirm the change of zone.
Repeat steps as necessary to move additional stock.
