Receiving products in a Storeroom warehouse
- Select Receipts > PO Receipt in Storeroom.
- Select the purchase order to receive and click the Details icon. The Purchase Order Receipt screen is displayed.
- Specify the packing list and modify the received date, if required.
- Select the Print Labels check box to print barcode, name, description, and location of a product on the label. The Line Label Quantity and Lot Label Quantity fields are displayed.
Note: This setting is defaulted from the Customer Number Setup screen. However, you can modify this setting.
- Specify this information:
- Line Label Quantity

The number of labels required to be printed for each item line on a purchase order. Possible values:
- One Label Per Item Line: Prints one label for each item line, regardless of the quantity received.
- Based on Quantity Received: Prints one label for each item unit received from all lines of a purchase order.
- Lot Label Quantity

The number of labels required to be printed for each lot of items on a purchase order. Possible values:
- One Label Per Lot: Prints one label for each lot of items, regardless of the quantity received.
- Based on Quantity: Prints one label for each item unit received across all lots of a purchase order.
Note: The labels are not printed for non-stock products, though these field values are specified. - Click Receive as Complete if:
- You received all quantities that were ordered OR,
- You did not receive all quantities but want to mark each line as complete and close the purchase order when you submit the order.
Note:-
You cannot receive the order as complete if:
- Products are received as unavailable or require inspection OR,
- Products require serial or lot numbers.
- If you do not receive the order as complete, continue to the next step.
- Specify this information to receive a line item:
- Received Qty
- The quantity that is received.
- Complete
- Select this option if you received all quantities that were ordered. You can also selected this option if you did not receive all quantities. When you mark the line as complete, a back order is not created for the products you did not receive.
- Inspection
- Select this option to require an inspection of the product before receiving is complete and Distribution SX.e is updated. Select this option if Unavailable is selected on the line.
- Unavailable
- Select this option to receive this line item as unavailable. You must also specify an unavailable reason in the Reason field. To receive a portion of a serial- or lot-controlled line item as unavailable, only specify the unavailable reason.
- Reason
- If you select Unavailable or Inspection, specify a reason. Use the Reason Lookup option to select a predefined reason.
- If the product is lot-controlled product, assign control numbers:
- Click Lots.

Click New to specify new or existing control numbers.
Specify lot numbers and quantity. You can also specify the bin location, unavailable quantity, open date, and expire date. You cannot change the open date or expire date for an existing lot.
If Unavailable is selected when you open the line, you do not have to specify the quantity unavailable when assigning the products to lots. The products are automatically received as unavailable.
- Click Accept after you specify the expected amount.
- If the product is a serial-controlled product that is assigned serial numbers at receiving, assign control numbers:
- Click Serials.

Click New to specify new or existing control numbers.
Specify a serial number for each product. You can also specify a bin location and include a comment. Select Unavailable to receive the product as unavailable.
- Click Accept after you specify the expected amount.
- Click Submit after receiving the lines. These messages are displayed:
- Received PO #: 1234-00

Note: The labels are not printed for non-stock products. Hence this message is not displayed.
