Setting up a regrind product

1. Create a product record for the regrind product:
   1. Select Product > Setup > Product.
   2. Copy the original product record.
   3. Specify a name for the regrind product, and then click OK.
   4. Make additional updates to the record if required, and then click Save.
2. Create a warehouse product record for the regrind product:
   1. Select Product > Setup > Warehouse Product, and then click New.
   2. Specify this information, and then click Save:

      Product

      Specify the product you created in Product Setup.

      Warehouse

      Specify the warehouse where the regrind product is stocked.

   3. If the product is a serial- or lot-controlled product, click General and then specify the control number information.
   4. Click Storeroom, and then select Regrind Product.
   5. If the product is customer-owned, select Customer Owned.
   6. Click Save.
3. Link the regrind product to the original product:
   1. Select Product > Setup > Warehouse Product.
   2. Open the record for the original product that you copied in Product Setup.
   3. Click Storeroom, and then specify the regrind product number in the Linked Regrind Product field.
   4. Click Save.
