Counting products in scan mode

  1. Select Count Entry on the WM Mobile application. The Count Entry screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Warehouse
    The warehouse linked to the products for which the Count Entry is to be performed.
    Run
    The valid run number linked to the specified warehouse.
    Starting Bin Location
    The bin location to be used as the starting point.
    Reconciliation Count
    Select this check box to run a reconciliation count.
    Scan by Product
    Select this check box to access the Count Entry details window in Scan mode and scan the products in any sequence.
  3. Click Search. The Count Entry details window is displayed, wherein you can view details such as Count Mode and Last Product Entered. The selected Warehouse and Run numbers are displayed at the top left of the screen. The Count Mode is set to Single by default.
    You can use these options on this window:
    • Change Count Mode: To access the Multi count mode.
    • List Entry Mode: To access the list entry mode.
    Note: If the run number specified on the Count Entry screen is linked to the serialized or lot product, you can use these options on this window:
    • Serials: To select and assign available serial numbers for all items being counted for the product.
    • Lot: To adjust or add new lots for the product.
  4. Specify the product number in the Product field.
    Note: 
    • The specified product number must be available in the Count Entry Maintenance table to avoid errors.
    • If a product is scanned using a handheld device, the scanned product value must match the Product or Manufacturer Product column values. If the product is not listed in the current run, the Product not found on this run error message is displayed, along with an audio alert.
  5. Specify the quantity counted for the product in the Quantity Counted field.
    Note: This field is displayed if the Count Mode field is set to Multi.
  6. Click Save. These columns are updated for the selected product in the Count Entry Maintenance table:

    • The Quantity Counted column value is incremented by the specified quantity, if the Count Mode field is set to Multi.

      The Quantity Counted column value is incremented by one if the Count Mode field is set to Single.

    • The Entered column is selected.
    Note: The Save option is displayed only if the Count Mode field is set to Multi. The product is counted automatically if the Count Mode field is set to Single.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 for each product. The Entered and Quantity Counted fields for the product order are populated on the ICEPE screen in Distribution SX.e.
    Note: The No Outstanding Counting Records for this Run message is displayed after the count of the last item is completed.
