TWL Cycle Count Accuracy Report overview
Function acronym: TWLRMG-RPTCCNT
Use the TWL Cycle Count Accuracy Report screen to generate accuracy reports for cycle count transactions within a specified range of cycle waves, dates, or both. This report can be used to map the discrepancy between the recorded and the actual inventory.
A cycle count transaction is considered accurate only if the count of item quantities and lots remains the same after the cycle count process is completed. The report is generated based on:
- Options and ranges specified for a stored or one-time report.
- Transaction type of CS (Cycle Count) from the transactions on an item.
- CS transactions that are processed within 30 days of the cycle count completion date.

Comparison between the quantity or lot before and after the count in a transaction.
Note: The stocking unit of measure is always considered for the comparison, because TWL stores quantities in the stocking unit of measure.

| Location Accuracy |
Indicates the accuracy of counts at the location level for a product. A location is considered as single entity regardless of the number of pallets or lots. A location can be marked as accurate if all counts within the location are accurate, based on the expected quantity.
Note: If a physical location is included in multiple cycle count waves, all instances are included in the report totals.

Location Accuracy for a wave = (Accurate Locations/Total Locations) * 100. For example, wave 34 contains three locations, and the count of one location is accurate. Location Accuracy for wave 34 = (1/3) * 100 = 33%. |
Location Accuracy for the report = (Sum of Accurate Locations/ Sum of Total Locations) * 100. For example, waves 34, 35, and 36 contain three, two, and two locations, respectively. The accurate locations in each wave are one, zero, and one, respectively. Location Accuracy for the report = (2/7) * 100 = 28.57%. |

Inventory Accuracy for a wave = (Accurate Counts/Total Counts) * 100. For example, wave 34 contains 10 items, and the count of eight items is accurate. Inventory Accuracy for wave 34 = (8/10) * 100 = 80%. |
Inventory Accuracy for the report = (Sum of Accurate Counts/Sum of Total Counts) * 100. For example, waves 34, 35, and 36 contain 10, three, and 15 items, respectively. The accurate items in each wave are eight, two, and 12, respectively. Inventory Accuracy for the report = (22/28) * 100 = 78.57%. |

Indicates the accuracy of item units. This metric measures the inventory quantities before and after a cycle count.
Note: If the result exceeds 100%, the result is adjusted to have the accuracy percentage within the expected range (0-100%).

Basic Units Accuracy for a Wave = (Quantity after the cycle count/Quantity before the cycle count) * 100. The adjusted Units Accuracy for a Wave = 100 - (Basic Units Accuracy percentage - 100). For example, wave 34 contains 113 item quantities after the cycle count, and 110 item quantities before the cycle count. Basic Units Accuracy for wave 34 = (113/110) * 100 = 102.72%. The adjusted Units Accuracy for wave 34 = 100 - (102.72 - 100) = 97.27%. |
Basic Units Accuracy for the report = (Sum of Quantities after the cycle count/Sum of Quantities before the cycle count) * 100. The adjusted Units Accuracy for the report = 100 - (Basic Units Accuracy percentage - 100). For example, waves 34, 35, and 36 contain 113, 39, and 57.5 item quantities after the cycle count, respectively. The item quantities before the cycle count are 110, 39, and 58.5, respectively. Basic Units Accuracy for the report = (209.5/207.5) * 100 = 100.96%. The adjusted Units Accuracy for the report = 100 - (100.96 - 100) = 99.04%. |
