BD Load Center Entry overview

Function acronym: BDEL

Use BD Load Center Entry to assign bulk delivery or pickup orders to a specific truck or compartment.

For Fill service types, you can perform these actions:

Change scheduled delivery dates for bulk delivery orders.
Update delivery routes.
Print delivery documents.

For Empty service types, you can perform these actions:

Change scheduled pickup dates for bulk pickup orders.
Update pickup routes.
Print pickup documents.

BD Load Center Entry displays bulk orders that meet these criteria:

Are not in use (locked by another operator)
Are not on hold
Are not suspended
Include line items with a Quantity Shipped > 0

Delivery or pickup documents are not printed for orders unless they meet these criteria.

The orders displayed in the grid are based on the Type of Service field value in the navigational panel:

Fill: Displays delivery orders.
Empty: Displays pickup orders.

Note: BD Load Center Entry summarizes the internal BDET transaction records and updates the Truck and Compartment, Delivery or Pickup Date, and Route values. You are prevented from assigning more product to a single truck compartment on one date than the compartment capacity in BD Truck Master Setup-Compartment allows. In this case, the message Warning: Compartment Capacity Exceeded is displayed when you update the delivery or pickup transactions.
