Form functionality differences

The Distribution SX.e version of the Service Management forms differ from standard Distribution SX.e screen functionality in these ways:

• Main screen
  • The most recently used (MRU) and autocomplete features are not available for lookups.
  • The lookup icon for lookup fields in Search sections is located to the right of the field instead of inside the field.
  • If you navigate to a details screen using a record from the Recently Visited section and then return to main screen, the grid is loaded with the corresponding single record.
  • Advanced search is not available.
• Detail screen

  When you open a record that is included in the grid, you access the detail screen in edit mode. Only the Save and Reset buttons are available in the toolbar on the detail screen.

• Grid
  • To open a record that is included in the grid, a hyperlink is provided in the primary key column. If the grid does not include a primary key column, then the first column in the grid includes a Select hyperlink to open the record.
  • A check box to open the record in a read-only mode is not provided. Because you open a record in edit mode, the Edit button is not included in the grid toolbar.
  • A selected row is dark gray. Multiple row selection is not permitted.
