Assigning a profile to a user

  1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Operator.
  2. Search for an operator record, and then select it.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. On the Static Information tab, specify a profile.
  5. Optionally, select Yes in the Allow User Specific Settings to enable the user to save any user-specific settings that are made when signed in under a profile.
  6. Click Function Security.
  7. Specify the security required for the newly assigned profile.
  8. Click Save.
