Setting up multilingual functionality

To view all translated content correctly, Distribution SX.e must run within the Infor OS framework.

  1. Create an English language record in SA Table Code Value Setup.
    1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Table Code Value.
    2. Select Languages from the Table List, and then click New
    3. Specify this information:

      Language

      Specify en.

      Description

      Specify English.

    4. Click Save.
  2. Sign out of Distribution SX.e, and then sign in again.
  3. Specify English on the SA Company Setup record.
    1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Company.
    2. Select the company record, and then click Edit.
    3. Specify English in the Language field.
    4. Click Save.
  4. Create a language record for Spanish, French Canadian, or both in SA Table Code Value Setup-Language. In the Language field, specify es for Spanish and fr for French Canadian.
  5. Sign out of Distribution SX.e, and then sign in again.
  6. If the company's domestic language is not English, change the language on the SA Company Setup record.
  7. For operators to view the application and internal reports in a language other than English, specify the preferred language on the operator records in SA Operator Setup-Static Information.
