Reviewing EDI 845 errors on the Error tab

  1. Select Electronic Data Interchange > Entry > Electronic Transaction Control Center. The Electronic Transaction Control Center screen is displayed.
  2. Search for the contract pricing documents.
  3. Click Errors. The Errors tab is displayed.
  4. Specify the search criteria in the Search section:
    Section

    The area in the document wherein the errors are displayed. Possible values:

    • Header: Displays the errors in the header section of the document.
    • Line: Displays the errors in the line section of the document.
    • All: Displays the errors in both the header and line sections of the document.
    All Lines
    Select this check box to display errors from each line of documents available on the Documents tab.
    Note: If the Section field is set to Line, clearing the All Lines check box is recommended.
    Line #
    The line number from documents available on the Documents tab for which you require the errors to be displayed.
    Note: This field is displayed if the All Lines check box is cleared.
    Include Corrected
    Select this check box to include the errors that are already corrected.
    Include Errors
    Select this check box to include the errors. The statistics of the errors to be corrected are displayed.
    Exceptions
    Select this check box to include the exceptions. The statistics of the exceptions to be corrected are also displayed.
    Informational
    Select this check box to include information related to the line errors. The statistics for errors with information are also displayed.
  5. Click Search. The list of errors is displayed in the Results Summary section, where you can correct the errors and submit the document for reprocessing.
