Viewing inbound pricing contracts in ETCC

  1. Select Electronic Data Interchange > Entry > Electronic Transaction Control Center. The Electronic Transaction Control Center screen is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria in the Search section:
    Process Type
The interface that is used to process transactions. Select ION-BOD.
    Transaction Type
The type of electronic transaction. Select EDI 845i Inbound Contract Pricing.
    Transaction Status
The status of documents that are to be displayed on the screen. Possible values:
    • Processed: Displays documents that are partially processed and require correction before processing. Transactions that are fully processed are also displayed based on the ETCC business rules.
    • Error: Displays documents that contain transaction errors and cannot be modified.
Note: You can delete the documents after reviewing. The vendor must correct the errors and resend the document, which is processed with a different Document ID.
    Update Status
The status of a transaction to be displayed on the screen. Possible values:
    • All: Displays all transactions, including canceled or completed.
    • All Open: Displays transactions with all statuses other than canceled and completed. Select this value to display all transactions that require attention.
    • Error: Displays transactions with header and line level errors.
    • Exceptions: Displays transactions with header and line level exceptions.
    • No Err/No Exc: Displays transactions that are incomplete, without errors or exceptions, not canceled, and not in WIP. These transactions are displayed in ETCC only if the Review Required business rule is set at the global, company, or vendor level. Select this value to review and approve or cancel transactions.
    • WIP: Displays transactions that are ready to process or in the processing stage.
    • Canceled: Displays transactions that are rejected and not processed.
    • Complete: Displays transactions that are completed.
    Date Range
The date range for which transactions are to be displayed.
  3. Click Search. The list of documents is displayed based on the information specified in the Search panel.

From the Actions menu, you can perform these actions on the selected transactions in the grid:

    • View Errors/Messages

Select this check box to view the error information in the documents with errors. Raw data from the transaction header can be displayed.

    • Approve Transaction

Select this check box to approve the exceptions and the transaction in the documents with exceptions.

You must review the exceptions on the Error Detail or Transaction Detail pages before approving. If you approve exceptions for a transaction that contains exceptions and restricted product errors, the order is approved. You do not require to address the restricted product errors.

The order cannot be approved for processing when you click Approve Transaction if other errors require correction.

    • Cancel Transaction

Select this check box to cancel the entire transaction, including the header and all lines.
      Note:
      • If an error exists, the transaction can be canceled, and the vendor must resend the transaction.
      • You cannot cancel a processed transaction.
    • Update Transaction

Select this check box to reprocess the documents with a blank value in the Update Status field. After you update, the Complete option is displayed in the Update Status column.

The Update Status field can be set to a blank value for the documents if errors and exceptions do not exist, or if the errors and exceptions are modified. Documents without errors are displayed on the Electronic Transaction Control Center (ETCC) screen for review if the ETCC-ReviewReqd business rule is activated.

Note: You can also update documents with Update Status set to Exception. However, reviewing the exceptions before updating the documents is recommended.
Note: You can use the Delete option on this screen or the Electronic Transaction Control Center Purge Report screen to delete a document, if one of these conditions is met:
    • The status of the transaction is Error.
    • The status of the transaction is Processed, and the Update Status is Canceled or Completed.
