Reassigning deliveries to a different route

You can reassign deliveries from one route to a different route. This might be necessary if a driver is unable to complete the full list of deliveries before the end of the day. You can remove the deliveries from the first driver's route and reassign them to a second (or third) driver's route who can complete those deliveries. If you remove or reassign a delivery from a route with no other open deliveries, the route is marked as FINISHED.

  1. Select Menu > Routes.
  2. Use the Search pane to display records in the Routes grid in RETRIEVED status.
  3. Drill down on the route to remove the deliveries from.
  4. Click Edit and then Edit Route.
  5. Select the deliveries to reassign from the route and click Assign Route.
  6. Select the route to reassign the selected deliveries to and click Assign.
  7. Notify the affected drivers of the change to their routes. The changes are applied in the Driver application when they refresh their Routes screen.
