Options

Whse
Pick tickets are printed for one warehouse at a time. All orders in the range specified for this warehouse are printed. If you enter individual order numbers in the list in the next option, the ranges do not apply.
Enter a List of Order #’s
Select Yes and then click the List button to specify a list of work orders to print pick tickets for. When you enter orders, any ranges you entered are ignored.
Print VAs thru Promised Date
The promised date works with the specified ranges. If you specify a promised date, all orders with a promised date on or before the date entered in this field are printed.
To print all of the orders within the ranges entered, specify 12/31/49. The Days to Allow Forward option can also be used with the promised date. Specify -1 to -7 in the day field to select up to 7 earlier days. For example, if you specify **/-7/** and the current date less 7 days is used for the date.
Days to Allow Forward
You can print pick tickets through the promised date plus up to 999 days forward. Specify how many days in the future to include. Actual working days are used to calculate the date, with the Saturday Shipments and Sunday Shipments options in Product Warehouse Description Setup taken into consideration.
For example, it is Thursday; you want to print pick tickets, and the Days to Allow Forward is 3. Your company ships on Saturday but is closed on Sunday. The pick tickets for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday are printed.
If a stored report is set up in VA Entry Processing Print Pick Tickets to automatically print pick tickets on a specific warehouse printer (@pckmain, for example), the number of days in the VA Entry Processing Print Pick Tickets option, Days to Allow Forward, is used to determine the date to compare to the order's promised date. If this date is less than or equal to the promised date on the order, the pick ticket prints.
Print Specifications/Instructions
Select Yes to print product specification (SP) sections on the VA work order.
Print Changes Only?
If the pick ticket has been printed before and you select Yes, only line items that have changed are printed. The quantity shipped reflects the difference if the quantity is increased. If the quantity is decreased, the quantity ordered and shipped reflects the new amount.
Select No to print all items on the pick ticket.
Print Order: (R)oute (O)rder# (E)ntry
Specify the print order for pick tickets.
Specify R sort by route/day/stop.
Specify O to sort by order number.
Specify E order to sort the orders in the sequence you entered them into the list, if you used the Enter a List of Order #’s option.
Create External Process POs Where Needed
Select Yes to create purchase orders for external (EX) processing sections. The purchase orders are used to receive the EX sections into the warehouse after the service vendor ships them back to you.
Print Rush Orders Only?
Select Yes to print only rush orders.
Create New Sections for Short Product?
Select Yes to ship and complete an inventory (IN) section when the all of the items are not available. The balance of the inventory from that section is back ordered to another section immediately following the parent section. If the next immediate section is an inventory (IN) section and does not already contain the line number and is a back order section, the back order is added to that section. If the next section does not meet that criteria, all following sections, along with their ties and associated transaction records, are moved down one sequence number and a new back order section is created with the back ordered. No adjustments are allowed for back order sections. After the line back orders to a new section, the line quantity ordered, shipped, unit, and product cannot be updated.
Print TWL Carton Detail?
Select Yes to include the TWL carton information when printing a packing list from the printer specified on the Carrier Master record.
Select No if you are printing packing lists for a non-TWL warehouse or to reduce print time.
