This checkbox is disabled for these zones:

  • Zones serving as an overflow area
  • Damaged Inventory zones
  • Discrepancy zones
Note: If this checkbox is cleared and a picker attempts to pick from this zone, an error message is displayed on the RF screen: This location is in a warehouse zone that does not allow picking.
Allow Putaway
Select this checkbox to enable specific rules for routing putaway to zones in your warehouse.
First Aisle
Specify the starting point of the zone parameters.
Last Aisle
Specify the ending point of the zone parameters.
Note: This point must be equal to or greater than the specified first aisle.
Pick Sequence
Specify the pick sequence order for this zone. Warehouse zone pick sequences must be consecutively numbered and each zone must have a unique number.
Putaway Sequence
Specify the order in which this zone is selected for putting away receipts. This order depends on system parameter 5757, PutAway Sort Order RF Prompt, which controls how directed putaway tasks are sorted and displayed on the RF. The parameter can be set to Disable or Zone Sequence.

Voice Interface

The Enable Voice Interface Assignment on Drop checkbox allows you to enable the voice interface for the selected warehouse zone. The Voice Interface section settings determine the functioning of the integrated voice application. The Use LUT (two-way messaging) field indicates the type of message to be sent when the order is picked. This field is set to Always Use Two-Way option by default, and the other options are currently disabled.

You can specify a value in the Region field to categorize your sales area which is also used for reporting purposes and must match the one specified for the warehouse on the TWL Configuration - TWL Warehouse Setup screen.
Note: The Voice Interface section is displayed when the Activated checkbox is set to checked on the SA Administrator Options - Integrations - Voice Interface Options screen.
