Kit Production work orders

In Distribution SX.e, you can create work orders for kit products in these functions:

• KP Work Order Center Entry
• KP Entry Recommended Work Orders Report

After a work order is created, it is sent to a Storeroom printer. The components are then picked, and the kit product is assembled. After assembly, the kit product is received into Storeroom inventory.

The Storeroom Receipts function automatically accepts and updates the work order in Distribution SX.e, and moves it to Built stage. If the number of kits that were built is different than the number of kits on the work order, the work order is adjusted.
