Working with grids

Grids are used to display lists of records and to enter data. You can customize grids.

This table lists the controls and indicators used to navigate the grid and enter data.

Description

drilldown

Drill down. Click to access a specific record.

Misc

Check box. Click to select a record or an option, such as Active or Print Price on Pick Ticket.

filter-selected-notselected

Either Selected or Not Selected. When you apply a filter, select this option to indicate that an option can be selected or not selected. For example, if the Action option is selected for a record, the record is active. If the Active option is not selected, the record is not active. You can select the Either Selected or Not Selected option to include both active and inactive records in the search.

sort-down

Descending. Indicates that the column is sorted in descending order. Click to sort by ascending order. This icon is not displayed until you click the column heading.

sort-up

Ascending. Indicates that the column is sorted in ascending order. Click to sort by descending order. This icon is not displayed until you click the column heading.

first-page

First. Click to view the first page of a multiple-page list.

previous-page

Previous. Click to view the previous page of a multiple-page list.

next-page

Next. Click to view to the next page of a multiple-page list.

last-page

Last. Click to view to the last page of a multiple-page list.

Required. Displayed next to fields that require a value.

error-alert

Error. Indicates an error. For example, this icon is displayed if you entered a required field but did not specify a value before exiting the field.

filter-select-filled

Valid. Indicates validated values. For example, this icon is displayed when an imported record does not contain an error.

pending

Processing. Indicates that the validation or submission of an import file is in progress.

new-alert

New. Indicates entry of new data in a grid, for example, when a product is added to an issue.

diamond-filled

Modified. Indicates that a value in the row was modified since its initial entry, such as the requested quantity of a product on a back order. If a field has a yellow indicator in the top left corner, the value in the field was modified.



Drillback hyperlink. Click to drill back to the corresponding document in Distribution SX.e. To use drillbacks, you must meet certain criteria.

More menu. Click to view the available options for the selected grid.

search-list

Lookup. Click to look up and select a record from a list of records. You can also use typeahead functionality in a field with a lookup button.

filter-calendar

Calendar. Click to open a date picker. The date format is determined by your machine or browser settings.
