Taxable status of products
The taxability of a stock product in Storeroom depends on the taxable status set on customer, or ship to, and product records in Distribution SX.e. The taxability of a nonstock product is determined by the taxable status of customer or ship to.
This table shows how the taxability of a stock product is determined and if Taxable is selected for the product on a Storeroom issue:

To override the taxable status on most products, the correct security role must be assigned to your user record. If the customer or ship to is not taxable, you cannot change the status of non-taxable stock or nonstock products in these functions:
- Issue entry in
- Regrind transactions in
