Receiving purchase orders

You can receive these types of products:

• Customer products not ordered through Distribution SX.e
• Products on Distribution SX.e purchase orders or warehouse transfers, including direct orders

  Products on direct purchase orders are shipped from the vendor directly to the customer. You are still required to receive the purchase order so that the back order is administratively filled and shipped, and then invoiced. Receive direct purchase orders in Storeroom after you receive notification from the vendor that the product was shipped per your usual business practices.

• Regrind in products either in Storeroom or Distribution SX.e

You can only receive products in the allowed warehouses that are specified on your Storeroom employee record.
