Managing document storage

Infor Document Management (IDM) records are generated when Proof of Delivery requests such as delivery signatures or images of completed deliveries fail to upload to IDM. The IDM Management screen located in the Admin menu of the Proof of Delivery Managers application enables you to manage these records that are submitted to IDM.

When a driver receives a signature for a delivery or an image of a completed delivery, a request is queued to upload the signature to IDM. If a request fails to upload to IDM, the record is stored as a document in the IDM Outbox grid in IDM Management.

You can select from these actions to manage your IDM record storage in the IDM Outbox:
  • Retry

    Select an IDM record from the grid and click Retry to retry a failed request. For example, a signature from a delivery may fail to upload to IDM and the request must be retried

  • Refresh

    Select an IDM record from the grid and click Refresh to display the updated status of the selected record

  • Delete

    Select an IDM record from the grid and click Delete to delete the record entirely

Additionally, you can enable or disable the integration between IDM and Proof of Delivery using the Enable Infor Document Management option in IDM Management. When the Enable Infor Document Management option is cleared, signature and delivery images from the Proof of Delivery Drivers application do not upload to IDM.
