Creating routes

  1. Select Menu > Routes.
  2. Click New Routes.
  3. Specify the start date. This is required and must be the current date or a future date.
  4. Specify this information:
    Route Name
    The name for the route you are creating.
    Initiating Manager
    The manager who is associated with the route.
  5. Optionally, specify this information:
    Notes
    Information about this schedule. This note is sent to the Driver application.
    Driver
    The driver this route is assigned to.
    Note: If you assign a driver, the route status is automatically advanced to ASSIGNED. Otherwise the route is created with the OPEN status.
    Truck ID
    The truck this route is assigned to.
  6. Optionally, to add deliveries when the route is created, toggle on the Workflow to Deliveries Screen option on the New Route window.
  7. Click Create Route.
    The Routes Detail window is displayed with the specified route ID if you skipped step 6. If you clicked Workflow to Deliveries Screen, the Assign Deliveries screen is displayed.
  8. Optionally, check the boxes beside the Delivery IDs to add to the route.
  9. Optionally, click Assign Route.
  10. If you optionally assigned routes, click Yes at the Update Delivery message.
