Proof of Delivery workflow

In Proof of Delivery, managers can follow a workflow similar to these scenarios.

Deliveries typically are orders that were placed the day before, after a delivery cutoff time.

Scenario 1

  1. The warehouse or delivery manager creates a new route for the next day.
  2. The manager assigns that route to the driver for the deliveries that are loaded on the truck.
  3. As the deliveries are loaded onto the truck, the manager assigns those deliveries to routes which are then assigned to the driver.

Scenario 2

  1. All deliveries are loaded on the truck at once.
  2. From the Deliveries screen, the manager selects all deliveries on the truck and assigns them to a route.
  3. The route is assigned to a driver.
  4. Orders arriving before the delivery cutoff are assigned to new routes or an existing route that is not yet loaded on the mobile device.

This process is repeated as often as necessary throughout the day or week to manage deliveries and routes.
