Overview

Using the Proof of Delivery Driver mobile application, drivers can accomplish these tasks:

  • Manage delivery routes
  • Capture signatures
  • Record the date and time of the delivery

Proof of Delivery is a two-component application:

  • A web-based Manager application used to manage routes, deliveries and drivers
  • A mobile Driver application for recording deliveries that runs on iPhones and Android smart phones

Proof of Delivery is synchronized with your Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP). The Manager app provides the communication between your ERP and the Proof of Delivery Driver app. The Manager application displays sales order line items that are picked in warehouses and ready for delivery. These warehouses are also set up in Proof of Delivery. Sales orders are marked as picked in your ERP until delivery processing is complete in Proof of Delivery.

The Driver mobile application captures delivery information and sends it to your ERP using the Manager app.

In Proof of Delivery, drivers are also referred to as handlers.
