Maintaining multiple bin locations

In Product Bin Maintenance Entry, you can maintain bins set up in Product Warehouse Product Setup and Product Additional Bin Location Setup. You can also set up additional bin locations.

From the grid, you can maintain bin locations 1 and 2 for individual products or update bin locations for multiple products simultaneously. To add or delete additional bins, you must open the record.

  1. Select Product > Entry > Bin Maintenance.
  2. Conduct a search.

    Specify a warehouse to search for products. You can also search by product, a product range, bin location, a bin location range, and the product status. To search for a specific product or bin location, specify the same value in the from and to fields.

  3. To maintain bin locations for an individual product, add, change, or delete bin locations 1 and 2 in the grid.
  4. To mass update a bin location for multiple products:
    1. Select the records to update.

      You can select records on which the bin to update is bin location 1, bin location 2, or an additional bin.

    2. Click Move Bin Location.
    3. Specify the old bin location and the new bin location, and then click Save.
  5. To add or delete additional bin locations, open the record, perform the edits, and then click Save.
    To add an additional bin:
    1. Click New.
    2. Specify the bin location.
    3. Click OK.
    To delete an additional bin:
    1. Select the bin.
    2. Click Delete.
    3. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
