Updating inventory with stock received from warehouse transfers

Use these instructions to close your current receiving session, update records, and initiate the Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report. Because administrator options affect your internal workflow, only the basic steps to perform the update are included. Verify that all receipts have been correctly handled before you perform this update because you must make manual reversals to correct the updates.

  1. Select Transfer > Entry > Receipt of Inventory.
  2. Receive warehouse transfers, but do not close the journal.
  3. Click Final Update.
  4. Select printer options for the allocation and receipts report.
  5. Select printer options for the pick tickets if you are processing the Sales Entry Processing Back Order Fill Report.
  6. Select the pick ticket print order.
  7. Click OK.
