Overriding markup costs for transfer markup addons

Optionally, you can add flexibility when you use transfer markup addons. You can use an override Markup Cost set in Product Warehouse Description Setup-Extended-Warehouse Transfers. The option overrides the company-wide Markup Cost setting in SA Administrator Options-Documents-Transfer Orders-Processing. With the override, you set the override on the receiving warehouse Product Warehouse Description Setup record, and the cost from the receiving warehouse Product Warehouse Product Setup record is used by the system.

  1. Select Product > Setup > Warehouse Description.
  2. Select the Extended tab.
  3. In the Warehouse Transfers section, in Markup Cost, select one: Average, Last, Replacement, and Standard.
    Note: If you retain the default blank, the company-wide cost type is used by the system.
  4. Click Save.
