Entering a substitute or upgrade product on a transfer

If a substitute or upgrade record is set up for a product in Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup, you can enter the cross-referenced product on a transfer.

Select Transfer > Entry > Transfer.
Create or maintain a warehouse transfer.
On the Advanced Line Entry page, specify the product to transfer.

Note: If you specify a product on the Easy Line Entry page, the cross-referenced products are displayed in the grid.
If the product has substitutes or upgrades, click Yes to view the cross-referenced products.
Select a product, and then click Submit.
The selected product replaces the product that you originally specified in the Product field.
Click Add to add the line to the transfer.
Finish the transfer.
