Automatically filling orders with special receipts

Fill Back Orders must be selected for Action to Take On Completion of Receiving in SA Administrator Options-Documents-Sales Orders-Back Orders to complete these instructions. Check the quantity and product carefully before you perform this update. You must manually enter reversals to correct updates to the system.

  1. Receive purchase orders or warehouse transfers, and perform the final update.
    After the final update is complete, the journal is closed and back order fill is automatically processed.
  2. Review the exception report to determine why orders were rejected for automatic update.
  3. Research the exception or inform the person responsible for handling the exception.
  4. Follow your internal procedures for handling exception receipts.
