Setting up additional bin locations for a product

Bin locations 1 and 2 are set up in Product Warehouse Product Setup, but you can add additional bin locations in Product Additional Bin Location Setup. A bin location is a unique ID assigned to every storage location in a warehouse. Pick tickets reflect the bin location to which the product has been assigned.

  1. Select Product > Setup > Additional Bin Location.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify the product and the warehouse.
  4. Specify a user-defined bin location.

    Bin format is Bldg/Row/Section/Shelf. For example, AA/A1/003/012.

  5. Click Save.
