WM transaction records
Warehouse Manager transaction records are stored in the WMET table. They can indicate which bins orders are going to fill. They can be created automatically, such as in Sales Entry Pick Tickets Report, during WM Bin Allocation, and in WM Transaction Entry. They are only visible to users in the WM Bin Allocation function.
A WM transaction record can assume three different stages. These stages occur, and are used, in the application logic and are not shown in the interface:
- 1 Entered
- 4 Finished
- 9 Canceled
A WM transaction record changes from 1 Entered to 4 Finished under these conditions:
- When quantities are moved from the Received and Committed fields
- When quantities are moved in or out of the On Hand balance in the WM Bin Location and Product Setup
The stages can change in these functions:
- KP Work Order Center Entry: Update mode
- Purchase Receipt of Inventory Entry: Update mode
- Sales Entry Invoice Processing Report
- Transfer Receipt of Inventory Entry : Update mode
- Transfer Shipping Entry
- WM Entry Replenish Primary Bins Report: Perform mode
- WM Accept/Review Replenishment Entry: Update mode
To prevent the size of the WMET table from impeding system processing, we recommend that you specify Yes for the Delete Transactions When Complete field in SA Administrator Options.
