Select PO to Receive
Use the Select PO to Receive window to receive a purchase order on a handheld device. You can also allocate content to warehouse stock and flag missing or damaged packages.
This window corresponds to the POEI window in Distribution SX.e.
- Click Receiving on the WM Mobile application.
- Click Select PO to Receive. The Select PO to Receive window is displayed.
- Specify the warehouse in the Warehouse field.

Click Download PO and specify these
fields on the Download PO to Receiving window:
- Purchase Order #

Specify a purchase order number.
You can only receive order types of PO, DO, BR, AC, or RM. The order must not be in a received stage. The order must not already contain received quantities from another shipment.
- Shipment ID
- Specify the shipment ID.
- Package ID
- Optionally, specify a package ID.
Note: A message stating that The order is already in use is displayed if the order is maintained by another user. -
Click OK to return to the
Select PO to Receive window wherein the fields are
populated as specified in the downloaded PO. Optionally, you can modify these
fields:
- Shipment ID
- Specify the shipment ID to filter the search results by that shipment ID.
- Vendor
- Specify the vendor to filter the search results by that vendor.
- Package ID
- Specify the package ID to filter the search results by that package ID.
- Click Search. The second search window is displayed.

Click Search on the second search
window. Optionally, you can specify the product to filter the results by that
product. The PO Lines grid displays the lines for the
downloaded PO wherein you can:
- Add PO lines manually if the lines are created after the PO is downloaded.
- Delete the PO lines.
Note: Changes made to the PO lines update the data of the batch record that you are currently working on. The same is updated in Distribution SX.e only after you complete the receiving process on the POEI window in Distribution SX.e. -
Drill down to a purchase order wherein you can view these details:
- Quantity Ordered
- Quantity Received
- Quantity Unavailable and reason
- Unit
You can perform these actions on a purchase order:
- To update a purchase order, see Updating a purchase order.
- To substitute or supersede items, see Substituting or superseding a product in a purchase order.

Receive the purchase order.
- Select a purchase order.
- Click Update to Received.

Specify this information:
- Received
- Select this check box to flag the order as received.
- Received Date
- Specify the date that the order was received.
- Action If Short
- Optionally, select Back Order, New Purchase Order, or Cancel as an action if the order is short of any quantities.
- Click OK.

Complete the receiving process on the POEI window in
Distribution SX.e.

Click OK if these messages are displayed:- The purchase order is in the PO Batch Receiving System.
- The full receipt for the PO was not completed.
