Managing Value Add production
Use the Production Scheduling module to manage your Value Add work order production planning. The Production Scheduling module is a stand-alone web application that is docked within the Distribution SX.e menu system for direct access from the application. It can be used to monitor your fabrication work centers or production lines based on labor lines in Internal Process (IT) or Inspection (IS) sections on VA work orders. The time required for labor lines in these VA sections are captured and displayed in the Production Scheduling grid.
Your production supervisor can use the Production Scheduling module to view the estimated dates for each VA processing step that updates the work order’s Estimated Completion Date. Any modifications to production dates or to work order lines or sections can be made in VA Order Entry. Updates are reflected in the Production Scheduling grid.
As your fabrication or assembly personnel complete their production work and record time in VA Internal Labor Time Entry, the estimated labor time is updated on the work order. These updates are also reflected in Production Scheduling.
