Viewing and updating VA orders

  1. Select VA > Entry > Order.
  2. Specify a warehouse, and then click Search.
    You can also specify a product, VA order number, entered date, and an order stage.
  3. Drill down on a VA order number line to view detailed header, section, or line item information.
  4. From the Sections tab, you can manage the sections that make up the fabrication process.
    • To add additional sections, click Add.
    • To update sections, select a section and select from the available actions.
    • To delete a section, select a section and click Delete.
    • To access a line for a section, select the section and select Line Items.
  5. From the Line Items tab, you can perform these actions:
    • Change products, quantities, and units on inventory comp (IN) and inventory in (II) lines.
    • Select a line and assign serial/lots, access the NonStock Entry page, view line history, access extended cost and availability information, add or view note, or delete the line.
    • Sort the line in ascending or descending order according to VA order number.
    You cannot add a line to a completed IN section. If you attempt to add a line to a completed IN section, this message is displayed:
    This Value Add Order/Section/Line Is Completed and Cannot be
    				Processed 
    			 
  6. From the Header tab, you can change general header information such as requested, promised, and completion dates and estimated cost and other values.
