Cross dock items during picking

When you print a backorder in the system, the backorder is flagged with an X by TWL. When the order is dropped for picking, the order type specifies which picker should fill the order. The order should be filled with the merchandise that was placed in the cross docking warehouse zone. Pick requests that are assigned to the cross dock warehouse zone have priority when pickers view tasks.

If the newly received stock is not in a cross dock zone, the backorder is changed to a regular order when you release the order. In this case, the picking task to the primary location is directed by TWL, and additional quantities of the received stock can be put away.
