SA Role Based Security - Operator Settings field descriptions
Fields are presented in alphabetical order within each section.
Operator Settings Search
Use this section to search for an operator setting. Specify the information in the fields and click
.- Column Name
- Specify the name of the field in the column name.
- Include In Updates
- Select Both, Yes, or No to determine if these items are included in the search. Select Yes to view items with the Include In Updates check box selected. Select No to view items with the Include In Updates check box cleared. Select Both to view both types of items.
- Table Name
- Specify the name of the table.
Operator Settings Table
Use this section to view and update the operator settings.
- Allowed Values
- The values that are allowed in the field. For example, yes, no, or 1, 2, 3.
- Column Name
- The name of the field.
- Created Date
- The date that the field was created.
- Data Type
- The data type of the field. For example, logical, integer, or character.
- Format
- The format of the field. For example, yes/no.
- Help
- The help screen, if applicable.
- Include in Updates
- Select this check box to include the field in the daily system update for that role. To exclude a field from the update, clear the check box. You can also select the row for the role and click or .
- Label
- The name of the field as it is displayed in the user interface.
- Screen
- The screen where the field is displayed.
- Table Name
- The database table where the setting is located. The tables are
pv_user
andsasoo
(legacy table). - Update Values
- Click in the Update Value cell and specify the value that you want the field to be updated to. For example, to change the value from the default value of yes, specify no.
